  • We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Tour Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in the tourism industry, a client-focused approach, and a strong ability to convert inquiries into successful bookings. This role demands professionalism, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service while maintaining integrity and honesty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice to clients on travel destinations, packages, and seasonal trends.
  • Assist customers in planning and booking tailored travel experiences based on their needs and preferences.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, ensuring excellent communication and quick turnaround times.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of popular travel destinations, seasonal offers, and industry developments.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients through exceptional service and follow-ups.
  • Adapt to dynamic customer requests and handle unique situations with professionalism.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by converting inquiries into successful bookings.
  • Uphold the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and ethical practices in all client interactions.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of experience as a Tour Consultant.
  • Comprehensive and well-rounded knowledge of the tourism industry across East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania & Uganda).
  • Proven experience in sales with a strong focus on conversion and customer satisfaction.
  • Dedication to consistency, professionalism, and exceptional service delivery.
  • Strong understanding of the importance of prompt response times.
  • Familiarity with travel seasons and popular destinations.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a client-centric approach.
  • Adaptability to dynamic and fast-changing situations.
  • High levels of integrity and honesty in all professional dealings.
  • Computer Literacy
