Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction in Navigation, Cargo Handling, control of operations of ship and care of persons onboard and stowage and radio communication.
- Oversee practical training using simulators and onboard training.
- Participate in curriculum development and mentorship of cadets.
- Train on Basic Safety Training.
- CBET Training Delivery
- CBET Assessment & Participate in Development Tools
- Compile Portfolio Evidence of CBET Trainee
- Supervise Trade Project & Business Plan
- Provide Results of the Assessment as Provided in the Assessment Schedule
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nautical Science or related field.
- CoC It (A-II/1 or A-II/2).
- STCW-compliant certification with sea service as Deck Officer.
- Proficiency in using navigation simulators is an additional advantage.
- Teaching qualification or experience preferred.
