Our client, a reputable and fast-growing company in the FMCG sector, is seeking to recruit a reliable, detail-oriented, and hands-on Fulfilment Associate to join their Supply Chain and Logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing daily warehouse operations related to order processing, inventory handling, dispatch, and documentation in line with company procedures and service-level expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick items as per customer order requests using picking lists or handheld devices and ensure correct packing in line with company standards.
- Order Verification and Labelling: Cross-check picked orders against order sheets and label packages with appropriate barcodes, shipping details, and batch numbers.
- Dispatch and Loading: Prepare consignments for dispatch and assist with loading goods onto delivery vehicles while ensuring all documentation is correct.
- Inventory Control: Support in stock counting, cycle counting, and reporting discrepancies between physical and system quantities.
- Shelf Restocking and Replenishment: Monitor and replenish inventory shelves with accurate stock rotation using FIFO or FEFO methods depending on the product category.
- Returns Management: Assist in receiving and processing returned goods, including quality checks, documentation, and restocking or disposal according to policy.
- Product Quality Checks: Inspect products for damages, expiry dates, and proper packaging before dispatch and report any non-conformities immediately.
- Use of Warehouse Tools and Systems: Operate handheld scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or ERP tools for real-time inventory tracking and task updates.
- Warehouse Hygiene and Safety:- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety across workstations as per 5S and health & safety guidelines.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping:-Accurately complete order processing forms, goods issue notes, stock movement sheets, and any other warehouse documentation required.
- Collaboration and Reporting:-Work closely with team members, supervisors, and delivery personnel to ensure smooth operations and escalate operational delays or stock issues as needed.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or higher qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, fulfilment, or distribution role— preferably within an FMCG environment
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), scanning devices, and inventory tracking tools
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel and other stock management platforms
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and move stock as needed
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends or public holidays
