Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, or TESOL/TEFL (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
  • A TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent ESL teaching certification is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language at college, university, or high school level.
  • Knowledge of second language acquisition theories and practical application in teaching.
  • Experience teaching academic writing, communication skills, and exam preparation (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge exams).
  • Flexibility to work per the institution’s schedule.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet frequently occurring deadlines.
  • Excellent Research and Critical thinking skills.
  • Time management skills and attention to detail
