You are a seasoned marketing and brand professional with a strong background in brand strategy, market analysis, product marketing, and stakeholder engagement. You naturally combine creativity with commercial thinking and are comfortable leading projects end-to-end, from insight to execution. You excel at collaborating across teams, managing agencies, and delivering brand experiences that drive business impact. You are detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about building brands that inspire loyalty and trust.
SUMMARY OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety rules. This is a core component of all roles at Bamburi Cement, aligned with Group H&S guidelines.
- Lead the development and execution of Bamburi Cement’s brand strategy, ensuring relevance, consistency, and market competitiveness.
- Drive integrated marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and on-ground channels to increase brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Conduct market and consumer insights analysis to inform brand positioning, communication strategies, and product development.
- Manage brand guidelines and ensure consistent application across all commercial fronts
- Oversee creative development, content creation, and storytelling initiatives in partnership with marketing agencies and internal teams.
- Lead product branding initiatives, including new product launches, packaging development, and value proposition refinement.
- Support trade marketing activities, including merchandising, promotions, and customer experience enhancements.
- Monitor brand performance metrics and market trends to guide decision-making.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensure cost control, and review agency invoices and campaign ROI.
- Build strong relationships with external partners, including agencies and industry bodies to maximize brand impact.
- Support the execution and organization of commercial events, and sponsorships, working closely with agencies, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Level of education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, communications or related field.
- A Master’s degree or professional certification in marketing, brand management, digital marketing, or market research is an added advantage.
- Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g.,MSK, CIM, ACCA Digital Marketing) is desirable.
Technical Competencies
- Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in brand management, marketing, or product marketing, ideally within FMCG, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Proven experience leading brand strategy, managing integrated campaigns, and collaborating with creative and media agencies.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, consumer behaviour, market segmentation, and brand analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to translate insights into actionable brand and communication strategies.
- Experience with product development, packaging, and go-to-market planning.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
