Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, execution, and completion of statutory, donor-funded, and special audits
- Supervise audit teams and ensure compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
- Review working papers, draft audit reports, and management letters
- Engage clients professionally and present audit findings to management and boards
- Mentor and develop audit staff while upholding firm quality standards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Academic & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- CPA (K) qualification – Mandatory
- Audit Practicing Certificate (or eligibility to obtain) – Added advantage
- Membership in ICPAK in good standing
Experience
- Minimum 6–8 years’ audit experience, with at least 3 years at supervisory or managerial level
- Proven experience auditing NGOs, donor-funded projects, SMEs, corporates, schools, churches, Saccos, and pension schemes
- Strong exposure to ISA, IFRS, IPSAS, and donor compliance frameworks
- Experience leading teams and managing multiple engagements concurrently
