Debt Collection Officer- Microfinance

Job Description

  • Manage delinquent accounts and recovery activities
  • Conduct field and desk collections within microfinance contexts
  • Negotiate repayment plans in line with approved credit policies
  • Maintain accurate recovery records and performance reports
  • Work closely with Credit and Portfolio teams to reduce portfolio at risk

Qualifications

  • A degree in Business Management
  • At least 3-year similar experience, preferably in a microfinance or lending institution.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven with a positive attitude
  • Be a team player.
