  • Welcome guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
  • Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently
  • Handle room allocations, key issuance, and guest information updates
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
  • Promote hotel services, facilities, and local attractions to guests
  • Process walk-in reservations and assist with room bookings
  • Handle payments, billing, and cashiering duties accurately
  • Balance cash float and prepare end-of-shift reports
  • Ensure all transactions comply with hotel policies and procedures
  • Liaise with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Security, and F&B to ensure guest needs are met
  • Communicate guest preferences, special requests, and VIP information effectively
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and messages professionally
  • Maintain accurate guest records in the Property Management System (PMS)
  • Prepare daily arrival, departure, and in-house guest reports
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards
  • Uphold the hotel’s brand standards, grooming standards, and service culture
  • Follow health, safety, and security procedures at all times
  • Participate in shift handovers and daily briefings

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management, Front Office Operations, or a related field
  • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as a hotel receptionist or front office agent
  • Experience using a Property Management System (PMS) is an added advantage
  • Flexibility and a positive, Yes I Can! Attitude
  • An eye for detail
  • Is a creative problem-solver
  • Passionate about creating extraordinary service
  • Ability to work as part of a team to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Likes having fun at work
  • Experience in a similar position is beneficial but not essential
