Basic Salary: Ksh.44,400-Ksh.61,110 (Permanent & Pensionable)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparing briefs, reports and background papers for Members of the County Assembly.
  • Collecting and analyzing data on policy, governance and public administration issues.
  • Supporting committees with evidence-based information. Maintaining a research database and library resources. Any other duty assigned by the Director of Research.

Requirements for Appointment

  • Diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, Linguistics, or related field.
  • Excellent command of English and Kiswahili.
  • Proficiency in transcription, shorthand and editing software.
  • Good typing speed and attention to detail.
  • Computer Literate
  • Experience in parliamentary reporting will be an added advantage.
