Occupational Safety Health and Environment (OSHE) Officer

- We are seeking a passionate and experienced OSE Officer to promote and ensure a safe and healthy working environment by implementing, monitoring, and maintaining health and safety standards, policies, and procedures in compliance with relevant legislation and company requirements.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor workplace safety policies and programs.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Train staff on occupational safety, health practices, and emergency procedures.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable OSH laws and regulations.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare reports with corrective actions.
- Oversee equipment safety maintenance, housekeeping standards, and safe environmental management.
- Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of inspections and activities.
- Promote a safety culture among staff
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in hospitality management, with exposure to events management.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of managing multiple teams across different locations.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and service standards.
- Good organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
