Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full accounting function for the restaurant group, ensuring accuracy, strong financial controls, and timely reporting
- Manage supplier accounts, including reconciliations, batch payments, pricing reviews, and VAT withholding compliance
- Supervise stock control processes, including regular stocktakes, variance investigations, and cost control improvements
- Review daily cash, card, and delivery platform banking to ensure accurate revenue recording and reconciliations
- Capture and maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online for purchases, sales, expenses, and banking
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and operational reports for management review
- Manage tax and statutory compliance, including VAT returns, reconciliations, and KRA iTax submissions
- Oversee licensing, audits, and financial documentation while supervising the Stock Controller and supporting operational teams
Key Qualifications
- Diploma or a Degree in a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification: CPA (K), ACCA, or CIMA
- Post-qualification experience, preferably in hospitality.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability
