The successful candidates will drive sales across all three product lines, manage customer relationships, and achieve set targets. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation and Sales: Actively identify and pursue new clients through fieldwork, referrals, and digital platforms for logbook loans, motorbike financing/sales, and phone financing/ sales.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with new and existing customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Product Expertise & Guidance: Develop extensive knowledge of all products and services offered, clearly explaining loan features, terms, and product specifications to customers.
  • Application and Documentation: Guide clients through the application process (for loans or purchases), collect and verify necessary documentation, and ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Financial & Credit Appraisal: Conduct initial client or business appraisals and financial assessments to determine eligibility and mitigate risk where necessary.
  • Target Achievement: Meet or exceed individual daily, weekly, and monthly sales and performance targets across all product categories.
  • Market Research: Monitor market and competitor activities, providing feedback to management to help develop effective sales tactics and new products or offers.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, customer interactions, and market feedback.
  • After-Sales Service: Provide excellent after-sales service and support, handling customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally. 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: A diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Proven sales experience, preferably in financial services, microfinance, or motor vehicle/electronics sales, is an added advantage.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Swahili.
  • Sales & Negotiation: Strong selling, negotiation, and client engagement skills with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Work Ethic: Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to build trust and lasting relationships.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and documentation.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in computer use and relevant sales or CRM software is mandatory.
