Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensuring the safety and security of the County Assembly premises, members of the County Assembly (MCAs), staff and visitors.
- Screening visitors and controlling entry and exit points.
- Reporting and responding to security incidents and emergencies.
- Conducting routine patrols within the Assembly precincts.
- Detecting and reporting suspicious activities.
- Maintaining occurrence books and preparing security reports.
- Issuance of entry badges.
- Preventing removal of the institution’s property without proper authorization.
- Performing any other duty assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements for Appointment
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Grade D+ or its equivalent.
- Must have served as a Security Guard for at least two years.
- Training in security operations from a recognized institution or paramilitary training certificate is an added advantage.
- Good communication skills and high integrity.
- Certificate in First Aid course.
