Responsibilities

  • lnstruction and Lesson Delivery- plan and teach lessons in line with the curriculum, using appropnate teaching
  • methods to support student understanding and engagement.
  • Assessment and Evaluation- prepare tests, assignments, and exams; mark and provide feedback; monitor and record students' academic progress.
  • Classroom Management - maintain discrpline, create a safe and inclusive leaming environment, and manage student behavior effectively.
  • Student Support and Guidance- mentor and guide students on academic and personal development, identify learning difficulties, and refer cases where necessary.
  • Professional and Administrative 0uties- attend staff meetings, prepare schemes of work and lesson plans, keep records, communicate with parents/guardians, and participate in school activities.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • A degree in Education
  • Two years post graduation experience in teaching
  • Registered with the Teachers Service Commission 
  • Mastery of office software (MS Word, Excel, and Power Point)
  • Able and willing to live, work and travel in a fast-paced and insecure environment adhering to strict security guidelines.
