  • Reflective, adaptable educators who possess a deep understanding of adolescent development and can create a classroom environment that balances freedom of thought with structured learning outcomes, as well as possess an understanding of mastery-based teaching and learning.

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education (required)
  • Valid TSC Number and minimum two (2) years’ teaching experience (Kenyan applicants) or minimum five (5) years’ teaching experience (international applicants)
  • Strong understanding of global issues, culture, and historical inquiry
  • Strong knowledge of literacy skills and mathematics at the middle years level.
  • Commitment to Woodland Star’s mission and values
