Job Requirements

  • Certificate in Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nursing, Kenya Enrolled Nursing, Kenya Enrolled Midwifery, or Kenya Enrolled Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry qualification;
  • Registration Certificate from Nursing Council of Kenya;
  • Valid Practicing License from Nursing Council of Kenya;
  • Certificate in Computer Application Skills

Job Description

  • Entry-level training under supervision;
  • Assessing patients and establishing health care needs;
  • Planning and implementing nursing interventions;
  • Providing healthcare including IMCI, immunization, PMTCT, ante-natal care, and delivery;
  • Providing health education and counselling to patients/clients and community;
  • Referring patients appropriately, facilitating admission, and initiating discharge plans;
  • Maintaining records of patients’/clients’ health condition;
  • Ensuring a tidy and safe clinical environment; and
  • Collecting and compiling data.
