Job Summary

  • We are looking for a dedicated and disciplined Driving Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing students for their NTSA driving examinations by delivering high-quality theoretical lessons in the classroom and/or hands-on practical training on the road.

Key Responsibilities

For Practical Instructors:

  • Conducting one-on-one behind-the-wheel training sessions.
  • Teaching vehicle control, road safety, and defensive driving techniques.
  • Maintaining the training vehicle in good condition and reporting maintenance needs.
  • Preparing students for the NTSA practical driving test.

For Theory Instructors:

  • Delivering structured classroom lessons based on the NTSA curriculum.
  • Teaching road signs, traffic rules, and basic mechanical knowledge.
  • Assessing student progress through internal mock exams.
  • Guiding students through the NTSA portal and exam booking process.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid NTSA Driving Instructor's License (Mandatory).
  • A valid Driving License with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a driving instructor in a reputable school.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Kiswahili.
  • High level of patience and the ability to handle students with varying learning speeds.
  • Basic computer literacy for managing student records.
